CLARA EMILY MARION

Clara Emily Marion, age 86, of Cape Girardeau passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999, in Cape Girardeau. She resided at Heartland Care Rehabilitation Center.

She was born January 26, 1913 in Egypt Mills, Mo., daughter of William Ervin and Elizabeth Caroline Schwettmann. She married William Marion on July 16, 1930 in Benton, Mo. He preceded her in death in January 1981. Mrs. Marion lived in Cape Girardeau County all her life and was a member of Iona Baptist Church. She worked as a housewife.

She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Farrow and her husband Elmer Farrow of Cape Girardeau, one grandchild, Lana Donette Johnson and her husband Ronald D. Johnson of Cape Girardeau, and one great grandchild, Andrew Johnson and his wife Patty of Millersville. She is preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Hamilton officiating.
