Clara Daniel

Clara Mae Daniel, 90, of Jackson, formerly of Chaffee, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home.

She was born July 6, 1927, in Anna, Illinois, to the late Frank and Mattie Grant Crider. She and Jack Daniel married Feb. 4, 1946, and he preceded her in death Sept. 18, 2007.

Clara worked at Florsheim Shoe factory, and she also worked at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Fountain Life Tabernacle in Jackson.

She is survived by two sons, Gary (Mary) Daniel of Jackson and Larry (Susan) Daniel of Sturdivant, Missouri; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Ron Marler and Brother Paul Bell officiating. Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery.
