ALTENBURG -- Clara Amanda Braeuner, 88, of Altenburg, died Sunday, April 17, 1994, at Aspen Forest Care Center in Perryville. She was born Dec. 7, 1905, at Altenburg, daughter of Herman and Mary Sophie Hesse Walther. She and Alvin Martin Braeuner were married April 24, 1927. He died Nov. 24, 1974...

ALTENBURG -- Clara Amanda Braeuner, 88, of Altenburg, died Sunday, April 17, 1994, at Aspen Forest Care Center in Perryville.

She was born Dec. 7, 1905, at Altenburg, daughter of Herman and Mary Sophie Hesse Walther. She and Alvin Martin Braeuner were married April 24, 1927. He died Nov. 24, 1974.

Braeuner was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church here.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond Braeuner of Festus, Clinton Braeuner of Altenburg; a daughter, Arleen Lohmann of Farrar; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel from 5-9 p.m. today, and from 6:30-8 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Church. The Rev. Willard Kassulke will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
