Cindy Prost

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Mary "Cindy" Prost, 52, of Perryville died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, at her home.

She was born Jan. 30, 1955, in Perryville, daughter of Chalmer and Rita Hagan Wood. She and Roger F. Prost were married Oct. 20, 1973.

Prost was office manager at Zahner and Associates Inc. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and past member of Rotary Club.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Christopher Prost of St. Charles, Mo.; a daughter, Angela Prost of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Allen Wood of Perryville, Richard and Melvin Wood of St. Louis, Roger Wood of Paris, Mo.; a sister, Joyce Klump of St. Charles; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
