SIKESTON -- Cinda L. Shemwell, 86, of Sikeston, died Monday, Nov. 28, 1994, at Sikeston Convalescent Center. She was born Feb. 26, 1908, in Marston, daughter of James and Angeline Evans Raines. SIKESTON -- Cinda L. Shemwell, 86, of Sikeston, died Monday, Nov. 28, 1994, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born Feb. 26, 1908, in Marston, daughter of James and Angeline Evans Raines. She and Andrew Shemwell were married Feb. 19, 1927.

Formerly of Lilbourn, she was a member of United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Ruth Middleton of Sikeston, Vera McDaniel of Parma, Madge Strickland of Essex; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Billie Butler officiating. Burial will be in Mounds Cemetery at Lilbourn.
