CHRISTINE SANDERS

BLOOMFIELD -- Christine Sanders, 79, of Bloomfield died Sunday, April 30, 2000, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.

She was born Sept. 18, 1920, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of Matt and Rosie Everett Dockins. She married Ben Sanders, who preceded her in death.

Sanders was a longtime resident of Bloomfield, and a member of General Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Junior Dockins of Bell City, Roger Sanders of Dexter; two daughters, Barbara Taylor of Bloomfield, Shelby Kneezle of Sikeston; a stepson, Henry Sanders of Puxico; a stepdaughter, Betty Wilemon of Montgomery City; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Bill Pennington and Bob Holland officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
