Christopher Larry Ruch, 45, of Jackson, died Saturday, May 15, 2010, at his home west of Jackson.
He was born Aug. 1, 1964, a son to Larry Flavian and Patricia Ann Franklin Ruch. He married Tami L. Moss on May 12, 2006.
Chris graduated from Jackson High School in 1982. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson and Westview Masonic Lodge 103 of Millersville. He was 1st Mate in charge of the deck crew with AEP River Operations of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Cape Girardeau.
He is survived by his wife Tami; his parents, Larry and Patricia Franklin Ruch; a grandmother, Viola Ruch, all of Jackson; a son, Ethan Ruch of Millersville; a daughter, Krystin Ruch of Cape Girardeau; three stepsons, Darrin Underwood of Jackson and Bobby and Matt Underwood, both of Scott City; a brother, John Ruch of Jackson; and niece and nephew Mallory and Thomas Ruch of Jackson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson, with a Masonic service at 5:30 p.m. and parish prayers at 7.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, with the Rev. John Harth officiating.
Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
