JONESBORO, Ill. -- Chloe Miller, 83, of Jonesboro died Saturday, April 13, 2002, at her home.
She was born May 25, 1918, at Mill Creek, daughter of Ivan Ford and Clara Belle Dillon Miller. She and Owen Miller were married June 5, 1939.
She was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Marilyn Miller and Cheryl Milam, both of Jonesboro, Nancy Glasshagel of Elgin, Ill., and Kathy Grulke of Galesburg, Ill.; eight sons, Marvin Miller of Danville, Ill., Jack Miller of Elgin, Ronald Miller of Chillicothe, Ill., Harold Miller of Danville, Rodger Miller of Carpentersville, Ill., John "J.D." Miller of Lick Creek, Ill., Berry and Randy Miller, both of Mill Creek, Ill.; four sisters, Ruth and Mary Hahn, both of Sterling, Ill., Maxine Connelly of Monroe, Ga., and Faye Clifton of St. Louis; 26 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hileman and Parr Funeral chapel.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Norman and Mildred Sloan officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
