Cheryl J. Masterson, 47, of Jackson died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born on March 11, 1965, in Abington, Pa., to Jasper and Pearl Cook Masterson.
Cheryl was a member of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church.
She is survived by her parents, Jasper and Pearl Masterson, both of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, David Masterson of Jackson and Steven (Laura) Masterson of Oak Ridge; one nephew, Steven Masterson and one niece, Mae Masterson both of Oak Ridge; uncle and aunt John and Janet McMasters of Oak Ridge; and her best friend, Pam Cook of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and sister, Debra Masterson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home, with Rev. Don Estes officiating. Interment will be in Caney Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Oak Ridge.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
