FROHNA, Mo. -- Cheryl A. Lorenz, 65, of Frohna died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 1, 1948, in Farrar, Mo., son of Herbert and Eugenia Burroughs Lorenz. He and Carol Miesner were married Oct. 23, 1971.
Cheryl was a carpenter and dairy farmer. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Melba Lorenz of Frohna; a brother, Verlin (Mona) Lorenz of Steelville, Ill.; two sisters, Ruby (Arlan) Steffens and Nancy (Bob) Mantz of Farrar; and three grandchildren, Jesse, Tyler and Autumn Francis of Perryville, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Penny Francis; and a brother, Earl Lorenz.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 to 8 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Salem Lutheran Church.
