Cheryl Kiefer

PERRYVILLE — Cheryl Lynn Kiefer, 66, of Perryville passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at her home.

She was born Oct. 31, 1957, in Cape Girardeau to Allen and Leona Shelton Johnson. Cheryl and Richard Kiefer were married March 2, 2024, in Perryville.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. Cheryl enjoyed traveling, fishing, scrap-booking, cooking and cross-stitching.

Survivors include two daughters, Rachel (Todd Brooks) Reed of Jackson and Roma (David) Scroggins of Jackson; brother, Raymond Johnson of Jackson; sister, Jackie (Jamie) Meyers of Chaffee; and 11 grandchildren, Sierra, Ridge, David Jr., Tytus, Logan, Lucas, Gavin, Breanna, Paige, Liam and Blake.

She was preceded in death by her father; son, Richard “Ricky” Reed; and brother, Kenny Johnson.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

Memorial service will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Ford officiating.
