CHAFFEE -- Cheryl A. Harris, 51, of Chaffee, formerly of Jackson, died Monday, July 12, 1999, at her home.
She was born July 21, 1947, in Piggott, Ark., daughter of Hilary and Dortha Winton Cole. She and Jim Harris were married April 29, 1966, at Poplar Bluff.
Harris was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School, and attended Arkansas State University.
She and her husband resided in Jackson many years. She was employed by Cape Girardeau County Circuit Court 24 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Kim Lynch of Berkeley Springs, W. Va., Becky Thompson of Kirksville; her parents; a brother, David Cole of Conway, Ark.; two sisters, Janie Buckner of Pine Bluff, Ark., Cindy Miller of Apple Valley, Minn.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Jackson. Dr. Brian Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
