Charlotte M. Roth, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, at her home. She was born May 26, 1913, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Dr. L.F. and Alma Pott Popp. She and Martin L. Roth were married July 30, 1942. Roth received a degree in music from Southeast Missouri State University. The Roths moved from Cape Girardeau to Dayton, Ohio, where they lived 18 years. Charlotte M. Roth, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, at her home.

She was born May 26, 1913, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Dr. L.F. and Alma Pott Popp. She and Martin L. Roth were married July 30, 1942.

Roth received a degree in music from Southeast Missouri State University. The Roths moved from Cape Girardeau to Dayton, Ohio, where they lived 18 years. They returned here in 1973. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a niece, Sister Judith Marie Popp of Nerinx, Ky.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Church, with the Rev. David Dissen officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church after 10 a.m. Friday.

McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
