CHARLOTTE R. EVANS

CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Charlotte Rae Evans of Portales, N.M., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at McMikle Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Evans, 30, died Tuesday, June 7, 1994, at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

She was born Oct. 19, 1963, in Sikeston, daughter of Bob and Wanda Hornback Berry. She and Rick Evans were married June 5, 1982.

Evans was a 1982 graduate of Charleston High School, and member of First Baptist Church here.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Garret and Richard Evans of the home; her parents of Charleston; a brother, Robert Berry of Jackson; two sisters, Cheryl Morris of Charleston, Karen Conn of Wyatt; maternal grandmother, Carrie Hornback of Charleston, and paternal grandmother, Crystal Berry of Bertrand.
