CHARLOTTE C. SCHIESS

Charlotte C. Schiess, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, April 21, 1993, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Sept. 1, 1909, at St. Louis, the daughter of F.W. and Jeanette Weingartner Arnold. She was married to Benjamin Schiess at St. Louis in 1956. He preceded her in death in 1978.

She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau. She worked for 20 years for the U.S. Civil Service in St. Louis, and in 1988 moved to Cape Girardeau from Mt. Home, Ark.

A brother, Fred Arnold, of Cape Girardeau survives.

Friends may call from 8-10 a.m. today at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau, where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. The Rev. Michael Zoellner will officiate, and entombment will be Friday in Baxter Memorial Gardens at Mt. Home.
