CHARLOTTA BRANNON

SIKESTON -- Charlotta Brannon, 84, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 1994, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Oct. 14, 1909, in Bollinger County, daughter of George and Nancy Curd Grace.

She married Jim Brannon in 1926. He died in 1973.

Brannon was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Brannon of Rockford, Ill., Gene Brannon of Sikeston; seven daughters, Christine Campbell, Lena Hicks and Patricia Young, all of Sikeston, Dorothy Layton of Bloomfield, Ruth Malone of Rockford, Ill., Nancy Cochran of Aquilla, Mo., Linda Arthur of Doniphan; 37 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and a grandson.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, with the Rev. Ralph Buckley officiating.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
