CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Charline Marie Bermel, 78, of Randolph, Neb., died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Randolph.
She was born June 24, 1929, in Kansas City, Mo., daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Hess Seyer. She and Fred Arnold Spader were married Jan. 19, 1957, at Kelso, Mo. He died Jan. 11, 1968. She later married Arthur J. Bermel Sr. Aug. 17, 1970, in Randolph.
Bermel was a 1947 graduate of Chaffee High School. She was a seamstress 10 years at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was a member of St. Frances Catholic Church in Randolph, its Council of Catholic Women and Christian Mothers.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Timothy Spader of Fort Collins, Colo., Dennis Spader of Norfolk, Neb., Arthur Bermel Jr. of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
The funeral was Aug. 21 at St. Frances Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Andrews officiating.
