MESLER -- Charley E. Freeman, 80, of Mesler, died Tuesday, May 30, 1995, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.
He was born Sept. 2, 1914, in Dover, Ark., son of Mose and Ann Dunlap Freeman. He married Zeola Curtis in 1934. She died July 6, 1963. He later married Lena Jenkins Nov. 12, 1966, at Lilbourn.
Freeman was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Bill Freeman of Bell City, Boyce Freeman of Delta, Albert Freeman of Dallas, Texas, Johnny Freeman of Dickinson, Texas, Gary Freeman of Carlsbad, Texas; a daughter, Nadine Smith of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Beckie McMinn and Bertha Hilibrand of Dover; 24 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and daughter.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Aaron Allen officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
