PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Charles H. "Charlie" Van Doren, 92, of Perryville died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001, at his home.
He was born Jan. 31, 1908, at Leopold, Mo., son of Martin J. and Wilhilmenia Holzum Van Doren Sr. He and Euline C. Zoellner were married Feb. 1, 1932, in Perryville.
Van Doren was a foreman at International Shoe Co. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, and Fourth Degree member of Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Barbara McDoniel of Kirkwood, Mo., Vickie Floyd of Sebring, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, five sisters, and a grandson.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake and KC service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
