CHARLES TUCKER

SIKESTON -- Charles R. Tucker, 28, of Joliet, Ill., died suddenly Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998, at his home.

He was born Aug. 6, 1969, in Joliet, son of Kenneth Ray and Carol McDaniel Tucker.

Tucker was employed at Dollar Tree Warehouse in Joliet.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Kenneth and Elizabeth Tucker of Dexter; his mother and stepfather, Carol and William Newman of Joliet; two brothers, Ricky and Mike Tucker of Joliet; three half brothers, Tony Newman of Joliet, Steven and Christopher Tucker of Dexter; six stepbrothers, Gary and Mike Newman of Sikeston, Dale, Jerry, Bill and James "Bubba" Newman of Joliet; two stepsisters, Sue Alexander of Sikeston, Debbie Merrick of Bertrand; maternal grandparents, Willard and Wanda McDaniel of Sikeston; and paternal grandmother, Leona Hunt of Dexter.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ponder Funeral Home, with the Rev. Preston Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from noon to service time.
