CHARLES THOMPSON

ADVANCE -- Charles "Sonny" Thompson, 55, of Advance, died Monday, Jan. 9, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 21, 1939, at Bell City, son of Homer and Lillian Overbey Thompson. He and Mary B. McMillion were married Oct. 18, 1958, at Glover.

Thompson was a driver with Wayne Millington Trucking Co. 19 years.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Clay Thompson of McGee, Brandon Thompson of Advance; three daughters, Lesa Blankenship and Rena Thompson of Advance, Julie VanderMierden of Glennon; his mother of Advance; a brother, Wade Thompson of Advance, and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4-8:30 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Leroy Hefner officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
