Charles Edward Seabaugh Jr., 46, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born April 23, 1954, in Advance, Mo., son of Charles Edward and Barbara Anderson Seabaugh. He and Rhonda Slinkard were married Dec. 21, 1976, in Cape Girardeau.
Seabaugh grew up in Delta, Mo., moving to Cape Girardeau in 1976. He was in business with his father-in-law, Ronnie Slinkard, at Slinkard and Seabaugh Mobil and also started a wrecker service. The business moved to 809 Enterprise where they were operating Seabaugh's Auto Repair and Wrecker Service.
He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church and American Pool Players Association. He competed in bass fishing tournaments, and attained a Red Belt from L.H. Park Martial Arts Institute.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Charles Christopher Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Rajeana Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; his mother of Delta; two brothers, Ronnie Seabaugh of Chaffee, Mo., Jerry Seabaugh of Delta; a sister, Doris Senciboy of Perkins, Mo.; four half brothers, Rick Seabaugh of Patton, Mo., Steve Seabaugh of St. Charles, Mo., Patrick Seabaugh of Patton, Tim Seabaugh of Jackson, Mo.; a half sister, Sherry Kinsting of St. Charles; and a grandson, Kevin Charles William Dobbs of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dan Ross officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Robert Mouser, Rob Fitzsimmons, Mike McGee, Loi Ha, Keith Bowman, Dale Ratliff, Sonny Kinder and Dallas Westrich.
Honorary pallbearers will be Reed Edmundson, Dennis Weber, Youn Gonzalez, Jeff Biester, Will Weissinger, Joe Wilson, Emil Dewrock, Tom McFerron, Scott McNeely and Roger Reed.
