BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Charles Edward Sadler, 70, of Bloomfield died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, at his home.
He was born Dec. 17, 1930, at Bloomfield, son of Carl and Winnie Hudgens Sadler. He and Shelby Black were married Sept. 17, 1954.
Sadler was a retired heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He attended Hills General Baptist Church.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kevin Sadler of Bloomfield, Carman Sadler of Dexter, Mo.; two brothers, Dean and Don Sadler of Bloomfield; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Revs. Rick Patterson and Gerald King will officiate. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
