Charles Hays Raglin, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at his home.
He was born on Dec. 26, 1918, at Cape Girardeau, son of Robert Clint and Rose Mae Martin Raglin.
He and Carmelita M. Stone were married April 14, 1944, at Blytheville, Ark.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was employed as an electrician at the Marquette Cement plant for 28 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of VFW Post 3838. He attended Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Jeep McCart of Cape Girardeau, Pamela Raglin of Jackson, Patricia Raglin of Fruitland; a son, Robert J. "Chuck" Raglin of Oak Ridge; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lloyd Engelmann officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery with military rites by VFW Post 3838.
