ORAN -- Charles Ray Parker, 73, of Oran, died Thursday, June 6, 1991, at his home.
He was born Nov. 20, 1917, at Lambert, son of William Albert and Martha Ellen Raglin. He and the former Loneta Fields were married April 3, 1936. She died June 9, 1966.
Parker had worked at International Shoe Co. in Sikeston. He was a member of Morley Baptist Church, and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Parker of Cape Girardeau, Frank Parker of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Kay Bramlett of Vanduser; two brothers, Frank Parker of Sikeston, Alfred Parker of Huntington, W.Va.; three sisters, Dorothy Foster of Cape Girardeau, Mildred Hitt and Ada Johnson of St. Louis, and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Marvin Graham will officiate, with burial in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
