SIKESTON -- Charles Oyler, 76, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1992, at Sikeston Health Care Center.
He was born Oct. 12, 1916, in Cedar County, son of Lawrence Lee and Mary Merle Bradley Oyler. He and his wife, Gladys, were married June 7, 1973. She died June 22, 1991.
Oyler was a retired refrigeration transporter with Wethington Truck Lines.
Survivors include a son, Lawrence Oyler of Ukiah, Calif.; a daughter, Mary Wolf of Palm Springs, Calif.; two sisters, Doris Sower of Murdock, Kan., Lois Beta of Clayton, N.M.; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Memphis Funeral Home in Memphis, Tenn. The Rev. Kelly Carlisle will officiate, with burial in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery in Memphis.
Friends may call at Memphis Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.
