CHARLES MCINTIRE

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Charles W. "Chuck" McIntire, 69, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

He was born June 12, 1931, in Anna, son of Floyd and Lela McIntire. He and Catherine "Tootie" Lindsey were married Jan. 11, 1969, in Reynoldsville, Ill.

McIntire worked in the dietary department at Choate Mental Health in Anna, retiring in 1991. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, American Legion, and VFW Post 3455 in Anna.

He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Paul McIntire of Anna; two stepsons, Larry Reynolds of Elgin, Ill., Harry Reynolds of Algonquin, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Kristy Miller of St. Louis; and three stepgrandchildren.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
