Charles Marx

Charles Marx, 69, of Jackson died Friday, April 2, 2010, at his home. He was born Dec. 4, 1940, in St. Louis, son of Pete and Beulah Douglas Marx. Marx was employed 25 years at Chateau Girardeau, retiring in 2005. Survivors include a son, Jeremy Marx (fiancee Jennifer Hauenschild) of Jackson; a daughter, Amy Marx of Jackson; a sister, JoAnne (George) Sears of Hillsboro, Mo.; former wife, Iris Marx of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren, Jordan, Donya and Caden Marx...

Survivors include a son, Jeremy Marx (fiancee Jennifer Hauenschild) of Jackson; a daughter, Amy Marx of Jackson; a sister, JoAnne (George) Sears of Hillsboro, Mo.; former wife, Iris Marx of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren, Jordan, Donya and Caden Marx.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private service was held at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Memorials may be given to Jackson R-II Public School Foundation.
