SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Charles W. Malaney, 68, Springfield passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at home. He was retired from the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a field engineer with 33 years of service.

Celebration of life visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home in Springfield. Family and friends were invited to share remembrances beginning at 6 p.m.

The burial will be at 2 p.m. today in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
