GLEN ALLEN -- Charles "Glen" Lincoln, 76, of Glen Allen, died Friday, June 26, 1998, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 5, 1922, at Shrum, son of David Abraham and Perniece E. Patton Lincoln.
He was married to Fern Lutes Cornman. She preceded him in death.
He was retired from Ceramo in Jackson. An Army veteran of World War II, he served in the European Theater where he earned two Bronze Stars. He was a member of the VFW Post 2866 in St. Charles. He was also a member of the First General Baptist Church in Jackson and was active in volunteer programs at the Missouri Veterans Home.
He is survived by a sister, Viola Ridings of Patton.
Four sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Luther Rhodes officiating. Burial and VFW rites by VFW Post 5900 of Marble Hill will follow in Plainview Cemetery near Marble Hill.
