PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Charles J. Keeble, 85, of Perryville died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at Perry Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was born Nov. 18, 1924, at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Ind., son of Charles and Eunice Denninger Keeble. He and Reva Grogg were married July 20, 1946, at Farmington, Mo. She preceded him in death July 11, 1996.
Keeble was a World War II Navy veteran.
He worked in construction. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Parish at Sereno, Mo., American Legion, life member of VFW, and was also a Mason.
Survivors include a son, Charles M. (Geraldine) Keeble of Old Appleton, Mo.; a daughter, Debra Ann (James) Welker of Perryville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Dixie Carr.
He was preceded in death by his wife and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Miller Family Funeral Home. A Masonic service will be at 3 p.m.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating.
Mr. Keeble donated his body for medical research.
