PERRYVILLE -- Charles J. Mansfield, 66, of Perryville, died Tuesday, July 13, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Jan. 29, 1927, in Ripley, Tenn., son of Merle and Sadie Collins Mansfield. He and Elaine Motts were married Aug. 17, 1948...

PERRYVILLE -- Charles J. Mansfield, 66, of Perryville, died Tuesday, July 13, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 29, 1927, in Ripley, Tenn., son of Merle and Sadie Collins Mansfield. He and Elaine Motts were married Aug. 17, 1948.

Mansfield was a retired steel worker and die setter.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Ruth Stern of St. Bernice, Ind., Mary Weiss of Troy, Ill., Debra Douglas of Perryville, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, brother and grandchild.

There is no visitation or service.

Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
