GRAND CHAIN, Ill. -- Funeral for Charles W. Inman of Grand Chain will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Grand Chain Congregational Church. The Rev. Mike Heston will officiate, with burial in Masonic Cemetery.

Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak from 6-9 p.m. today.

Inman, 71, died Tuesday, March 3, 1998, at his home.

He was the son of Harry and Mary Basse Inman. He first married Vivian Seawright, who preceded him in death. He later married Mae Dunning.

Inman was a retired farmer. He was a member of Grand Chain Congregational Church, American Legion Post 178 and VFW Post 8891. He served on the Board of Ullin Mutual Fire Insurance and F.H.A.

He was a veteran of World War II, and served at General Eisenhower's Headquarters in Frankfort, Germany.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Debra Musgraves of Grand Chain; a son, Ronnie Inman of Grand Chain; a stepson, Dave Dunning of Russellville, Ark.; a stepdaughter, Sheri Snow of North Little Rock, Ark.; his father of Grand Chain; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
