MOREHOUSE -- Charles "Chuck" Hileman, 64, of Morehouse died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Ky.
He was born Jan. 23, 1935, at Morehouse, son of Lee and Lela Cavins Hileman. He first married Carolyn S. Taylor Feb. 14, 1958. He later married Wanda Nicholas Dill June 21, 1993.
Hileman was owner/operator of Chuck's Barber Shop in Sikeston for 41 years. He was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston. Hileman was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles "Chip" and Timothy Hileman of Sikeston; a daughter, Valerie Hancock of Louisville, Ky.; three stepsons, Ron Peek of Houston, Texas, Keith Dill of Huntsville, Ala., Randy Dill of Sikeston; a stepdaughter, Sandy Smith of Millersville; two brothers, A.C. Hileman of Flint, Mich., Robert Hileman Jr. of Morehouse; four sisters, Lucille Haley, Shirley Rutledge, Mary Cook, all of Morehouse, Betty Kindle of Sikeston; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and 10 stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Revs. Kelly Grubbs and Scott Hancock will officiate. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
