CHARLES HEFFNER

BELL CITY -- Funeral mass for Charles O. Heffner of Springfield was held Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church in Springfield. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery near Springfield.

Heffner, 78, died Friday, April 19, 1996, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

He was born June 26, 1917, in Bell City.

Heffner retired from the extension department in Columbia, and was a member of Immaculate Church.

Survivors include three sons, Tom Heffner of Hawaii, Joe Heffner of Springfield, Chris Heffner of Columbia; three daughters, Lois and Loretta of Alabama, Latricia of Columbia, and several grandchildren.

His wife, Candy, died in February 1994.
