CHARLES GILLILAND

ZALMA -- Charles Gilliland, 63, of Zalma died Thursday, Dec. 28, 1995, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Feb. 10, 1932, at Gypsy, son of Jasper and Flora Stilts Gilliland. On April 7, 1957, he married Shirley Dunn at Lowndes.

He was a farmer and a member of the Lowndes Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Paul Gilliland of Advance and Ronnie Gilliland of Zalma; a daughter, Linda Wade of Farmington; two brothers, Hubert Gilliland of Puxico and Lamar Gilliland of Fredericktown; two sisters, Mary James of Farmington and Diane Gibbons of Pearland, Texas; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Virgil Bunch will officiate, with burial in the Berrong Cemetery near Zalma.
