SIKESTON -- Charles Stanley "Stan" Fikuart, 52, of Hagarville, Ark., died Thursday, Feb. 29, 1996, at Johnson Regional Hospital in Clarksville, Ark. SIKESTON -- Charles Stanley "Stan" Fikuart, 52, of Hagarville, Ark., died Thursday, Feb. 29, 1996, at Johnson Regional Hospital in Clarksville, Ark.

He was born Sept. 25, 1943, in Sikeston, son of Windle and Marie Vaughan Fikuart. He and Gayle Hennigan Glosser were married Dec. 14, 1990, in Williamsport, Pa.

Fikuart was a foreman and heavy equipment master mechanic with Murphy Brothers Pipeline Co. He was a member of VFW, and International Operator Engineers Union 318. He served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jerry Fikuart of St. Petersburg, Fla., Jesse Fikuart of Marion, Ill.; his mother of Sikeston; a stepson, Fred Voelker of Picture Rocks, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Karen Bierman of Williamsport; two sisters, Linda Culbertson of Sikeston, Lydia McGovern of St. Louis, and four stepgrandchildren.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 1 p.m. Friday.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating.
