CHARLES F. MILLER

TAMMS, Ill. -- Charles F. Miller of Route 1, Tamms, died Friday, July 19, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Miller, 78, was born June 7, 1912 in Diswood, Ill., son of Charlie and Ada Hargis Miller.

He married Leota Nelson on Nov. 14, 1936. She survives.

He was a member of the Sandy Creek Baptist Church, and was former president of Ullin, Ill. Mutual Insurance Co.

Survivors include three sons, Donald Miller of Brighton, Ill., Ronald L. Miller and Douglas Miller, both of Tamms; a sister, Beatrice Clayton of Alton, Ill.; two brothers, Gerald Miller of Olive Branch and Billy Miller of Godfrey, Ill.; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Service for Miller will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Albert Moore officiating. Interment will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms after 5 p.m. Sunday.
