ULLIN, Ill. -- Charles E. Hull Sr. 65, of Ullin died Nov. 16, 1996, at his home.
He was born Jan. 14., 1931 at Mitchell, Ill., son of William Henry and Alma Blanch Beacock Hull.
Hull was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and was a member of the Occidental Lodge #623 in Overland.
Survivors include his wife, Laurel Hull; four sons, Yancy and Jayme Hull of Ullin; Charles Hull, Jr. of Granite City, Ill.,; three daughters, Melinda Weston and Susan Holman of Granite City and Valarie O'Connell of Collinsville, Ill.; two step-sons, Charlie Meyer of Trevor, Wis., and Paul Hegel of Kentucky; two step-daughters, Deanna Fitch of Waterloo, Ill., and De Anna of Collinsville, Ill.; two brothers, William A. Hull of Cobden and Reuben Hull of Thebes; two sisters, Wilma Cole of Louisville, Ky., and Grace Hastings of Alton; nine grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Crain Funeral Home in Ullin. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Thomas Mortuary in Granite City. The Rev. Mark Maynard will officiate with burial to follow in Lakeview Memorial at Belleview.
