Charles E. Davis, 90, 538 S. Middle, died Sunday, June 26, 1994, at Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg, Ill. He was born Oct. 14, 1903, son of John Oliver and Martha A. Braden Davis. Charles E. Davis, 90, 538 S. Middle, died Sunday, June 26, 1994, at Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg, Ill.

He was born Oct. 14, 1903, son of John Oliver and Martha A. Braden Davis. He married the former Grace Rice.

Formerly of Franklin County, Ill., Davis was a retired section foreman with Missouri-Pacific Railroad. He attended First Pentecostal Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his wife.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call at Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home in Benton, Ill., from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery at Benton.
