MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Charles Michael Douglas, 51, of St. Louis passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at the family home following an illness.

He was born Oct. 26, 1954, in St. Louis, son of Charles Leroy and Kathleen Huffman Douglas.

He was a machinist for Carr Lane Manufacturing Co. in St. Louis.

Survivors include his mother; four sisters, Kathy Liston, Karen Douglas, Sandy Carter and Donna Holt, all of St. Louis; and 12 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ralph Hebblethwrite officiating. Burial will be in Pulliam Cemetery near Scopus, Mo.
