JONESBORO, Ill. -- Charles D. Livesay, 86, of Jonesboro died Sunday, April 20, 1997, at his home.

He was born June 6, 1910, in Grand Tower, son of James and Clara Bertrum Livesay. He married Helen R. Rumfelt on Aug. 25, 1933, in Marion. She survives.

He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by a daughter, June Ballance of Lincoln, Neb.; a brother, Robert Livesay of Jonesboro; a sister, Clara Franklin of White City, Ore.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.

Funeral service and burial will be private. Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
