COBDEN, Ill. -- Charles O. Cutrell, 79, of Cobden died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at his home.
He was born June 7, 1922, at Cobden, son of Harvey and Josie Bowers Cutrell. He and Alma Ludene Meacham were married Nov. 26, 1955.
Cutrell was a self-employed mechanic and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Rodney Cutrell and Allan Cutrell, both of Cobden; a daughter, Debra Cutrell of Cobden; two sisters, Wanda Ragsdale of Los Angeles, Calif., and Margaret Kenzy of Round Mountain, Calif.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dewayne Taylor will officiate, with burial in the Cobden Cemetery. Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 in Anna, Ill., will present military honors at the grave.
