PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Charles G. Brown, 76, of Perryville died Saturday, July 22, 2000, at the Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville.
He was born Sept. 7, 1923, at Chicago, son of Arthur and Jeanatte Decoch Brown.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy. He worked as an armored car driver for Brinks for 20 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Vann of Moose Pass, Alaska; a son, Charles C. Brown of Deerfield, Fla.; a sister, Margaret Shoback of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two brothers, Howard Brown and William Brown, both of Illinois.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
All services are private, under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
