JACKSON -- Charles Andrew Glueck, 86, of Jackson died Sunday, Nov. 12, 1995, at his home.

He was born Nov. 2, 1909, at Cape Girardeau, son of Anton and Ida Schlitt Glueck. He and Dorothy Ann Ahner were married July 18, 1939, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.

Glueck worked as a farmer. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1111 in Cape Girardeau and the Western Catholic Union.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Anton "Tony" Glueck of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Patricia Glueck of St. Louis; three sisters, Catherine Dunn of Belleville, Ill., Martha Scheeter of Oran and Helen Trickey of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson. Parish prayers will be recited at 7 p.m. followed by the rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Allen Saunders will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
