MATTHEWS -- Funeral for Charles L. Andrew of Matthews will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Mike Cartwright and Curt Bellinger will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
Friends may call at the chapel from 11 a.m. until service time.
Andrew, 80, died Friday, June 25, 1999, at Sells Rest Home.
He was born Dec. 20, 1918, in Amiott, Kan., son of Frank and Bessie Tilford Andrew. He and Lois Sifford were married May 17, 1957, at Bloomfield.
Andrew owned and operated Andrew Land Grading and Excavating Co. He was a charter member of Big Prairie Jaycees. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, David Andrew of Matthews; a brother, Harold Andrew of Matthews; three sisters, Edna Wilper of Tonganoxie, Kan., Eva Humphrey of Lees Summit, Ruth Rogers of Iola, Kan.; three grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and a stepgrandson.
He was preceded in death by a son, a brother and two sisters.
