PERRYVILLE, Mo. — A double committal service for Charles and Helen Knox of New Orleans will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Brazeau Presbyterian Cemetery in Brazeau, Mo. The Rev. Craig King will officiate.
Knox, 88, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, in Tulsa, Okla. Mrs. Knox, 101, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, in Tulsa.
He was born Jan. 20, 1917, at Brazeau, son of Edwin and Z. Fern Barber Knox. She was born Aug. 5, 1906, in Montpelier, Vt., daughter of Elmer and Lottie Heipel Vernier. They were married May 26, 1953.
Knox retired from the purchasing department of Diamler Chrysler Aerospace Division. He had been active in the Junior Golf Association in New Orleans. She retired as a physical education teacher from Detroit School System.
He is survived by a brother-in-law, Richard Basler of Tulsa, and a sister-in-law, Jill Knox of Florida.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
