EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Charles F. Allred, 77, of East Prairie died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at East Prairie Nursing Center.
He was born April 4, 1923, in Roseland, Ark., son of Ira and Fannie Church Allred. He and Phyllis Monaco were married Jan. 26, 1946. She died Aug. 19, 1986.
Allred lived in New Madrid County most of his life. He was a farmer.
Survivors include five sons, Charles and Larry Allred of East Prairie, Nicholes Allred of Sikeston, Mo., Timothy Allred of Matthews, Mo., Scotty Allred of Hayti, Mo.; a daughter, Lillie Allred of East Prairie; two brothers, Johnny Allred of Morgan City, La., Wyley Allred of East Prairie; three sisters, Ella Branam of East Prairie, Jewel Tanksley and Frances Redfering of Cape Girardeau; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Martin Lucas officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
