Charles Alexander Mammon, 83, of Farmington, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 1995, at Doctors' Hospital in Wentzville.
He was born March 29, 1912, in Egypt Mills, son of John and Matilda "Tillie" Gerschwyler Mammon. He and Lucille Johnston Vance were married Dec. 1, 1974.
Mammon was a graduate of Central High School, Cape Girardeau Business College and St. Louis University. He was an internal auditor with the U.S. Army Aviation Systems, retiring in 1977. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three stepsons, William Vance of Clearwater, Fla., Robert Vance of San Clemente, Calif., Terry Vance of California; a stepdaughter, Joanie Tusken of Colorado, and a sister, Irene Mammon of Cape Girardeau.
Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in a cemetery at Sullivan.
