CHARLENE STRATEMEYER

METROPOLIS, Ill. -- Charlene Sue Rehlmeyer Stratemeyer, 61, of Metropolis died Friday, June 19, 1998, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Eugene of Metropolis; three sons, Samuel of Metropolis, Benjamin of Centralia and Daniel of Paducah, Ky.; a sister, Lydia Meinders of Metropolis; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at St. John's United Church of Christ in Metropolis. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Curtis Lee officiating.
